Welcome from the Interim Principal
It is my pleasure to welcome you to Marlin Junior High, where our students are challenged to grow academically, develop strong character, and prepare for success in high school and beyond. My name is LaFredrick Smith, and I am honored to serve as the Interim Principal during this important time for our campus.
Junior high is a pivotal stage in a student's educational journey. During these years, students begin to discover their strengths, develop greater independence, and prepare for the opportunities and responsibilities that lie ahead. At Marlin Junior High, our dedicated teachers and staff are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where every student is encouraged to reach their full potential.
As Interim Principal, my focus is to provide strong leadership, support our teachers, and ensure that every decision we make is centered on what is best for students. Together, we will continue building a culture of high expectations, mutual respect, and academic excellence while creating meaningful opportunities for every student to succeed.
We know that strong schools are built through strong partnerships. I encourage our families to stay connected, communicate regularly with teachers and campus staff, and remain actively involved in their child's education. By working together, we can create an environment where every student feels supported, challenged, and empowered to achieve their goals.
Thank you for the opportunity to serve the students, families, and community of Marlin Junior High. I look forward to working alongside you as we continue building a campus where every student can learn, lead, and succeed.
I am excited for all that this school year will bring and look forward to the great things we will accomplish together. #UnleashExcellence
